Bernardo Atxagas novel The Accordionist's Son continues to make inroads in the United States. This past weekend The New York Times published the first chapter of the novel, as well as a review of the novel.
The New York Times published the first chapter of The Accordionist's Son on February 14.
The following day, February 15, a review of the novel, titled Beyond Guernica, appeared in The New York Times' Book Review supplement, where reviews of and news about books of current interest are published every Sunday.
As mentioned here previously, the English translation of the novel was published a few months ago in the United States, and before that in the United Kigndom. It has received high praise in the press and from critics.
