Istanbul Tanpinar Literature Festival

The first international Istanbul Tanpınar Literature Festival took place from October 31-November 3 in Istanbul.
Saturday October 31 saw the opening of the Istanbul Tanpınar Literature Festival (ITLF), the first literary and book fair to be held in Istanbul, Turkey.
Over 50 writers from around the world participated in the festival, including Basque writer Bernardo Atxaga. The writer from Asteasu shared the bill with writers from 32 other countries, among them Adam Fawer, Nawal El Saadawi and Geert Mak.
