Bernardo Atxaga, finalist for the "Shadow" Independent Foreign Fiction Prize

Bernardo Atxaga has just been honored by the "Shadow" Independent Foreign Fiction Prize. His latest novel to be translated into English, Seven Houses in France, has made the shortlist put out a shadow jury made up of a group of bloggers that specialize in foreign fiction. This shadow jury accompanies the official jury.
The six finalists chosen by the jury are: Bernardo Atxaga, Amos Oz, Sjon, Peter Nadas, Umberto Eco and Matthias Politycki. The complete list of finalists is available at Robaroundbook.com.
The prize’s “shadow jury” is made up of individuals from the following blogs: Winstonsdad, Eleutherophobia, Robaroundbooks, Inside Books, Anz Litlovers Litblog, Tony's Reading List, y The Parrish Lantern (for more details, see Booktrust).
