Bernardo Atxaga to participate in the Festival for World Literature in Cologne (Germany)

This week the renowned Poetica II literary festival brings together writers from Europe and North America, including Bernardo Atxaga, who will take part in 4 different events.
The current edition of the Poetica II Literary Festival runs from January 25-30 in Cologne, Germany. Organized by the University of Cologne with support from the Ministry of Education and the German Academy for Language and Literature, is one of the best-known literary festivals in Europe.
Once again over a dozen authors will attend, including Yuri Andrukhovych (Ukraine), Georgi Gospodinov (Bulgaria), Lavinia Greenlaw (United Kingdom), Durs Grünbein (Germany), Paul Muldoon (USA), Ilma Rakusa (Switzerland), Ana Ristović (Serbia) and Sjón (Iceland).
Bernardo Atxaga is also one of the invited authors. He will participate in 4 events, beginning with the opening event on Monday evening. On Tuesday he will be at the event "Readings and Conversations with Bernardo Atxaga, Lavinia Greenlaw, and Paul Muldoon", which will be held at the Cologne Public Library and start at 8pm.
On Friday January 29th Atxaga will be at the "Readings and Conversations with the Poetica Authors and Authors from the German Academy for Language and Literature" event at the Wallraf-Richartz Museum, and on Saturday January 30th he will be at the "Poetry Meets Scenery" event, which unites literature and the stage.
