Atxaga presents his latest greek translation at Chania's Book Festival

Bernardo Atxaga will take part today (June the 30th, at 10 pm) in the 1st Chania Book Festival in the island of Crete (Greece), where he will present the latest greek translation of one of his novels, Houses and Graves, which has also been recently translated into Serbian.
Atxaga's novel Spytya kay Tafoy, Houses and graves (in original Basque, Etxeak eta hilobiak), has been translated into greek by Kostas Athanasiou and published by Ekkremes, a Greek publishing house which has also published the Basque author. The new Chania Book Festival has highlighted Atxaga's presence among the more than 100 speakers invited to the event.
Also, a Serbian translation of the same book (Kuce i grobnice) was published last month by the Buka Bes publishing house, a translation by Biljana Isailovic
