Bernardo Atxaga was in Santiago de Compostela last weekend to attend a literary event at the Talking Stones Garden (Xardín das pedras que falan), in which a stone inscribed with a poem by the Basque writer was installed.

Bernardo Atxaga in Australia, 1st week of March 2014
Bernardo Atxaga will tour Australia over the next days. He will be a guest of the 2014 Adelaide Writers’ Week. That is part Adelaide’s Festival, a main arts event in Australia. Bernardo Atxaga will also give talks in the universities of Sydney and Melbourne.
